What does the future hold for medical rehabilitation?
How will the reha market look a couple of years from now?

These questions provided the motivation in 1999 for the set-up of a database for annual detailed statements on the patient-come-clients of the MEDIAN clinics, access to rehabilitation, and the procedures and results of the rehabilitation process. In the year 2000 the MEDIAN clinics first submitted the documentation"Statistische Erfassung und Auswertung von Basisdaten zur stationären Rehabilitation der Patientenklientel der MEDIAN Kliniken" [Statistical Record and Evaluation of the Basic Data on In-Patient Rehabilitation of the Patient-cum-Clients of the MEDIAN Clinics].

Now the documentation for the year 2005 is available. After several years of evaluation in such an explosive era - particularly for our branch - the comparison with the previous year is becoming more and more interesting and revealing. And the longer we monitor the development, the more precise our answers are to the questions put at the outset as to the future of rehabilitation.
