  • Prevalence of elevated lipoprotein(a) in cardiac rehabilitation patients – results from a large-scale multicentre registry in Germany

    Das deutschlandweite MEDIAN-Register (n=3.393) zeigt: Pathologisch erhöhte Lp(a)-Spiegel (>50 mg/dL bzw. >125 nmol/L) finden sich bei rund 30 % der kardiologischen Reha-Patient:innen – häufiger als in Bevölkerungsstudien und allgemeinen kardiologischen Kollektiven. Zudem wurde Lp(a) in den zuweisenden Akuthäusern vorab nur in <5 % der Fälle bestimmt, was die Relevanz einer konsequenten Lp(a)-Messung (mindestens einmal im Leben) unterstreicht.
