With his extensive experience within both the health technology and sport science areas, Stan sits at the intersection between the application and scientific grounding within the HandHeld-Health performance.

Dr. André M. Schmidt, CEO der MEDIAN Group und CEO von Priory, hat sich von Beginn der Corona-Pandemie an für die Rolle der Rehabilitation in der Bekämpfung der Pandemie eingesetzt. Zudem unterstützte und förderte er von Anfang an die Entwicklung und Einführung neuer Corona-Reha-Konzepte sowie digitaler Reha-Angebote, so dass MEDIAN seit der Aufnahme des ersten Corona-Reha-Patienten am 14. April 2020 inzwischen mehr als 3.000 Post-Covid-Patienten betreut hat.

Dr. André M. Schmidt, MEDIAN Group CEO and CEO of Priory has campaigned for the role of rehab from the beginning of the corona pandemic. By intervening in politics and with payers, he ensured that rehab could continue to fulfill its care mandate. Urgently needed services in the field of addiction and psychosomatics were maintained, while Covid-19 patients were admitted to relieve acute clinics. Additionally he supported and promoted from the beginning the development and launch of new Corona-rehab concepts as well as digital rehab offers so that MEDIAN took care for more than 3.000 post-Covid patients since the first admission on April, 14th 2020.
